If you really want to see how good your palate and brain are, def. do a blind or double blind tasting. Its amazing what happens when all preconceived notions are thrown out the door. All wines seem to be more similar and even deciphering the easiest of varietals can be a challenge. Blind tastings are the dead lifts of the tasting world!
