Compliment for the blog!

It&#039;s always a nice experience also for us to drink such historical wines and vintages. ..happy that you liked it.
What i don&#039;t agree with you is the too much oak in the 2005.
We are very careful in using barrels and barrique as the &quot;Ruffino style&quot; is to produce important wines but mantaining a clean fruit in it. And this is only possible without exagerating with aging in oak.
Maybe try the wine again in the future and let me know what you think about it.

It was a very pleasant evening and the food was fantastic. Think we had all fun togheter drinking great wines!

Hope to see you soon in Italy and hopefully drinking some new wines in our Estates.
