Yes, Poland is defintely a sausage country! And the Bigos is quite acidic so I thought the nebbiolo was quite nice with this dish actually! But, I am also sure a nice Lambrusco would also work!
Regarding Olek’s wines – I was happy to get the chance to taste this wine, but I have to admit that it wasn’t totally my style. And, I find his price points to be a bit high.

Would like to taste Oleks wine. A bit like Axel Prufer in th eRhone, he is originally from East Germany and now makes wine in the South of France and very very nice wine it is, I have one left…….. If you make the Bigos fat enough and not to acidic it screams for wines from Emiglia not? 😉 They have a lot of sausages in Poland don’t they?
